A little bit of farm in the city.
To me, farm style is an eclectic blend of country and industrial, rustic and Victorian. Inject modern conveniences where you absolutely need them, but all else is made from scratch, handed down, or re-purposed. Everything in our home is well-used, and well-loved, worn down by age to a perfectly imperfect patina.

On paper, I am a freelance graphic and web designer, artist, and writer. At heart, I'm a farmer. Despite being raised and currently stuck in the suburbs of Los Angeles, I am trying very hard to make believe I live in the country. I know that our little patch of suburbia is a far cry from a working farm, but it does just fine for now, thank you! Follow along with me, my husband, and our 'barnyard' full of animals as we try to get a little farmy up in here.
