Did you have a zillion trick-or-treaters?

We sure did! Next year, as Halloween is on a Friday…is going to be INSANE. We are already battening down the hatches (and plotting our decor upgrades!)!

Thanks, Roberta! It’s just purple lights. The leaves are our wisteria vine–just gets real spooky-looking at night with that purple glow! 😀

Oh, you crazy people!! Wish I could have been there… I got two whole tricker-treaters. I had decorations (not like yours, of course!! But there was no question about whether I was ready with candy for kids) and my chihuahua and I were both dressed up… Two, count again…T W O !!

Need any of my leftover candy?

Yeah, Halloween is a big deal around here and we get HOARDS of people coming by. You don’t want to know how much money I spent on Halloween candy. You just don’t!

No–lol–just down the driveway where we were sitting/guarding the candy. 🙂

I love what you did and I love halloween! I just finished putting away all of our stuff today. It is a lot of work but so much fun. Can you tell me more about the projections? That is REALLY cool!

    • farmhouseK8 November 10, 2013 at 2:53 pm Reply

Thanks, Aleshia. Well, it helps that we have a crazy friend who owns all the equipment (two projectors, one for each side of the porch) and was willing to help us–but we basically hung chiffon-type black fabric along the front of our pergola, and then projected these images onto it (also, my husband is an editor and put together the two ‘videos’). It was quite a process, this whole thing–LOL. But it looked pretty darned awesome (if I do say so myself!!) and we have a huge turn-out every year so the reaction kind of makes it worth it.
