Often I love poached eggs on buttered toast. Lately I have mastered the art of a quiche and love adding whatever veggies I can find out of our garden. It makes me feel super warm knowing my chickens laid the eggs, we use raw local milk and my veggies are from the back yard 🙂

I love my chickens, but I am not crazy about eggs. I don’t mind them in food but I just don’t like them plain. That said, my favorite way to eat eggs is from my childhood , back when I used to love eggs. My Mom tells me I called it “punched eggs on toast”. That’s poached eggs on toast. Debbie’s chopped up eggs on toast sounds good to me, too. Maybe this book would help me broaden my egg appreciation.
