No need to go out and buy a bunch of costly glass storage containers… (I was making Bread & Butter pickles at the time… yum!) These greenies remind me of the jars my grandmother and auntie used (the originators of this particular recipe for pickles). I am definitely “on” for this give-away!!

From one Cate to another – what a WONDERFUL offer! Thank you, girl. I have been canning for over 30 years. Along the years I have picked up many Ball jars (the BEST to can in, in my opinion) and have many from my grandmothers passed down to me. I have the old blue ones but have not seen the green ones until now. Years ago I won a blue ribbon on a couple of items I entered in the fair in my local community in Alaska. One of the gifts with those ribbons was a Ball canning guide. I have treasured it and always welcome a Ball product. Thank you Kate and Ball canning company!!

I just moved into a new home, and there’s a spot in the kitchen that’s perfect for these jars

My favorite thing to can is salsa made with my Dad’s home grown tomatoes. He is 92 and still grows them in Alabama. My mom used to can tomatoes also. We love green beans too. I grew up watching and helping my mother can and put up many vegetables and fruits. ♡ In memory of my MOTHER ♡ ♡Annie Ruth Miller 09/18/30 – 10/03/10♡

They are almost too pretty to can with. They would be pretty for food storage such as pasta, bean, flour and such
